The Forest Grove ReStore sells used and donated housewares, furniture, appliances, garden supplies, building materials, and other assorted items at prices well under comparable retail pricing. After covering operating expenses of the store, all profits go to West Tuality Habitat for Humanity to build and repair homes in Western Washington County, Oregon
(Forest Grove, Cornelius, Gaston, Banks, Gales Creek, North Plains & the surrounding area).

More than 90% of the furniture, household items, and other goods donated to the ReStore are cleaned, repaired, or upcycled before being re-sold, totaling more than one million pounds of goods each year. And when you buy items at our ReStore, you are buying local, meaning low fuel usage for both transporting the items to where you will be using them and eliminating fuel for shipping from a manufacturer.
Our blog offers ideas on how you can reimagine items in our ReStore to create something beautiful or unique for your home or as a gift for someone else. And we welcome guest bloggers!
The ReStore also serves as a recycling collection point in collaboration with other agencies. For example, as a participant in the Metro Paint Recycling Program, the ReStore processes between 5,000 – 6,000 gallons of recycled paint. Working with Oregon e-Cycles, the ReStore is a drop-off site for electronics recycling. Find out more about items you can bring to us for recycling.

Each Tuesday, we feature some items available as of that day in the ReStore. We also regularly post some of the many items available in our store for in-person sales on our Facebook page and our Instagram page. Please note that we are unable to hold items and we cannot guarantee an item featured online will still be in the ReStore. Items go FAST once we post photos of them on social media - sometimes the same day we post them!
Upgraded Gift Cards!
The Forest Grove Gift cards have been upgraded! Now, you can choose the amount you want on your ReStore gift card! Our gift cards are available for onsite, in-person purchase at our ReStore. We’re open Mondays through Saturdays, 9 to 5. These gare a great gift idea ANY time of year: for birthdays, for house warmings, or just to say “welcome” or “thanks”!
Please note that a gift card you purchase at our store is valid ONLY at the ReStore in Forest Grove, Oregon - it is NOT honored at other ReStores.
If you have a an old gift card from our previous system, which is valued at $25, these will be honored only until June 30, 2024.
Funds raised through sales at the ReStore help to fund the home construction, critical home repair and affordable housing advocacy work of West Tuality Habitat in Western Washington County.
In addition to supporting Habitat work through their donations and their purchases, Forest Grove ReStore customers have volunteered in Habitat for Humanity house builds and our Women’s Build event, and various other events.
